Trust Mission Statement
"To inform, educate and entertain the general public about the social, historic and cultural heritage of the Royal Burgh of Lanark, particularly with regard to its association with its most famous resident, Sir William Wallace, Guardian of Scotland; to do so by way of displays, exhibitions, restorations, re-enactments and museums; to encourage tourism and the economic development of the Upper Clyde Valley by the provision of a mix of interesting and inviting experiences for both residents and visitors through high quality leisure and retail experiences, and to collaborate closely with similar organisations, the relevant Local Authorities and other statutory bodies in the furtherance of these aims".
